“Well done, dear good and faithful one,”
You’ll hear the Master say.
He saw you take just what you had
And give your life away!

Your time became His time to have;
You kept no secret part,
And as you gave your life away,
Joy, then filled His heart.

You filled His heart with gladness,
(And that’s our goal: it’s true;)
But then this loving, giving, God
Returned that joy to you!

“Well done, thou good and faithful one;
You have claimed My Word.
Here: Take My heart; it’s yours, My Child,
Enter the joy of the Lord!”
