Oh, dear precious God,
May we like angels be;
Quietly about Your work,
Not for eyes to see.

But rather that the eyes of those
Receiving living bread,
Might look at us to but see
The face of Christ instead.

That as we go about our days
Honoring Your Word,
Like the angels may we just
Dissolve into the Lord.

So that a hungering longing world
Might not our service see,
But rather Jesus living in us –
Transparently.
