Be Reconciled to God

“Oh, Beloved,” Jesus beckons,
“Come to me. I will give you
Life eternal, life abundant,
I will yet make all things new.”
In your heart of hearts, I ask you,
Simply pray this simple prayer:
Jesus, I am lost without You,
Yet I know that You are there.
Waiting, longing, to transform me,
Wanting to forgive my sin;
Waiting for an invitation,
Wanting me to ask You in.
Dear Lord Jesus, now I do that,
Now I open my heart’s door.
Cleanse me, fill me with Your Spirit,
Make me Yours forever more.
Thank You Jesus! How I praise You!
You have done just what You said.
All I did was ask, and Jesus
You have raised me from the dead!
Life is mine, life everlasting,
Living water floods my soul.
Send me forth in joy proclaiming,
“Jesus Christ has made me whole!”
