994A: From Death to Life
Where man's relationship with God is concerned, true strength comes from known dependence, not from independence. Jesus said clearly, "I am the Way, I am the Truth, I am the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me." We have a choice to come to God only through accepting Jesus Christ as our Saviour. Our lives become dependent on His. The minute we invite Him in us as our Saviour, we pass from death to life. Our old self dies, and we are eternally connected to Jesus. He is waiting for us to ask Him in today.
