993A: Who Needs a Doctor?
We have been called to serve one another. To do that, we've got to go where the people are. We have to accept, like Jesus, the tax collector's invitation to have supper with the city's ten most hated list. We have to go, bathed in the love of Christ, not to enjoy their sin or be attracted by their greed, but neither to condemn them by ignoring them or condescending to them. They need Jesus. We have Jesus. They are sick. We know the Doctor.
