920A: What Do I Have to Boast About?
The Christian who shouts in his testimony, "Of mine own self I can do nothing," and then subtly underlines his conversations with echoes of his own accomplishments, leaves behind him the wreckage of a confused world. Boasting is self-exaltation. It is man's attempt to bring glory to himself, so boasting is serious business. Just what does the Scripture say we should boast about?
