525A: Testing – Satan Destroys the Fruit
This is the third in a series of lessons on the sower and the seed. We will look at the "weeds and thorns" of the world. Jesus divided them into three categories: The cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the lust of other things entering in. If the seed of the Word cannot be snatched by the enemy and the roots can't be stopped from going down into the soil, he is going to try through these three methods to keep fruit from being produced. However, a healthy tree will produce fruit. By being aware of Satan's plan, we will avoid being drawn by Satan and we can instead enjoy bearing the fruits of the Spirit.
