521A: Testing – To Teach Us “God Is”
God often tests us to enlarge our vision of Who He is. Looking at the life of Job, we can see how God tested Job in order to show Himself more clearly to Job. How big is your God? He will test you proportionately to how big He is in your life, and, with each test, He should end up bigger. We will come to see His perfect grace, His mercy, and His faithfulness. When all is completed, we will be able to relax in the fact that we have a big God who is our rock, our fortress, and our deliverer. He is and ever shall be. May we, as Job, stand amazed at the greatness of our God.
