1322A: The Grass Withers
Only two things are eternal, beloved: the Word of God and people. We are to pour our lives into loving one another with a pure heart, fervently, pouring this eternal book into their lives as we do, with the intent that men and women be born again through the incorruptible seed of the Word of God. Just like the grass in your yard, this world is going to wither and die. Your dreams of greatness will wither and die. Your ambitions of glory will wither and die. Your checkbook, your stocks, your investments will be gone. But not this book. It will abide forever.
