1318A: O Lord, Teach Me
One source of truth is the Word of God. Whether we are reading, studying, or memorizing it for ourselves, or listening to someone else preaching or teaching it, we cannot learn anything apart from God’s Spirit. That dependent relationship on our Interpreter is so crucial to the process of transformation that God has reminded us over and over in His word that understanding His Word is the result of what He teaches us.
