1248A: Phinehas: A Lasting Priesthood
Phinehas' entrance into Israel came at a time when the Word of God was being violated and the heart of God broken. In the midst of flagrant violations of God's holiness, Phinehas moves on stage zealous for God's honor. When God's honor is at stake, the believer must not remain idle. When men and women who profess to be Christians violate basic Scriptural principles, the church has an obligation to act.
