1236B: The Call to Servanthood
Jesus set the example for us to follow as servants. Just as He led His small band of disciples in servanthood by washing their feet, so He calls us to "wash the feet of one another." The mark of the Christian was to be His deep love for others. How can they see that love? Not by what we say, but by how unselfishly we serve.
