1228B: But Rather Serve Them
What is a slave to do? The issue is really respecting those in authority, because all authority is given by God. The natural response of man is diametrically opposed to the response that would most glorify God. It does not mean that the Church ignores moral wrongs, but how we conduct ourselves under authority even as we move towards change is of primary importance to God.
