1225A: Standing the Test of Time

Standing the test of time. There is no greater measure of a man than if he stands the test of time. Real greatness is not measurable until the ravages of time have made their mark, and the glamor of personality has given way to the timelessness of character. Paul was looking for a few good men, and those would have to be men who would still be standing when the storms had passed, and the years had melted away. In this jet age we live in, God seems to be taking forever, but anything worthwhile takes time.
