1128A: They Shall Never Perish
We are eternally secure!! We will never perish, if we have accepted the gift of God's Son, and entered the door of the sheepfold through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. It is not because of what we have done, but because of what Jesus has done. He has saved us. The assurance that we are eternally "in Christ" ought not to be our license to sin, but our motivation to praise. It ought not to be our temptation to apathy, but our inner drive to commitment. Neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else can ever separate us from His love.
