1118B: On Earth as It Is in Heaven
How do we pray for the will of God, and what does praying for the will of God really mean? Once we are in harmony with God's absolutes, how do we find His specific will for our lives? Prayer is the answer to finding the will of God. As we pray, we are to continually and expectantly give every day and every hour over to His Lordship, specifically asking that His will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. We are to pray until our hearts are so intertwined with God's that to face a cross would be glory. We are no longer pleading with God to do our will, but surrendering to God so His will may be done.
