1114B: The Legend Lives On
As we wrap up the living legend, Elijah, we see God taking Elijah home in a whirlwind. What a picture book of reality his life was! We can think of Elijah as our hearts begin to resist God's call, or when we are called to some thankless task, or when we are called to some magnificent cause and feel terribly unequipped, or as we sit depressed under life's juniper tree. God gives us the whole story regarding the lives of His saints. We can learn much from the life of Elijah.
