Where has all the love gone
In this troubled world we’re in?
Why does the Church seem powerless
To move in the lives of men?
Where has all the giving gone,
Giving the way Christ gave?
Laying aside our self-righteous robes,
Donning the cloak of a slave.
Where have the words of Jesus gone
When He said, “Men, you must choose it;
Give your life away and live;
Or cling to your life and lose it!”
Where has all the love gone?
It’s living in us today.
It’s only waiting to be released
As we give ourselves away.
That’s where all the love is,
It’s waiting for us to give.
And when we do, the more we do,
The more we’ll begin to live!
