Poem: The Miracle of “Plan B”

Our precious God has so much love
That in His sovereign plan,
To take and break and make of us
God’s woman or God’s man,
He’ll even use the things we do
That break His loving heart.
He’ll pick us up, renew our joy,
And grant another start.
And when we think, “There is no hope,
There’s nothing left for me,”
Our loving Savior whispers,
“But what about ‘Plan B’?”
You may have made some big mistakes
And paid a price, that’s true;
But, oh, dear one, God has a plan,
And He’s not through with you.
Like Moses after all those years
He whispers, “Child, come near.
It’s not too late for greatness,
And you’ve no cause for fear.”
The God who made you understands.
He’ll ne’er forsake His own.
He knows that even through your wrongs,
By grace, your heart has grown.
Stand still, Beloved, raise your eyes;
Look towards heaven and see,
God has yet one more miracle:
The miracle of “Plan B”!
